Kokstad is on the southeast border between Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Eastern Cape and makes an ideal stop-over before or after travelling through the Transkei. Kokstad is set in a beautiful farming area surrounded by mountains with much to see in a region dominated by dairy, cattle and sheep farms. There are many b&b establishments here with STONEYBROOK RANCH on top of the list of places to stay.
DIRECTIONS.....

Take the main Cedarville/Matatiele road heading west out of Kokstad town.

  • Approx, 11kms out of town (after a long, fairly flat, straight section of road - with a dam on the left and before starting to climb a hill) turn RIGHT at the STONEYBROOK B&B signpost - just before the left bend and uphill climb in the road.
  • Follow the gravel road for ˝km and turn RIGHT at the STONEYBROOK entrance.
  • Drive down the hill, cross a stream and follow the signs to the Ranch on the right.
